This is a SAORI book from Japan, Sukini Sukini Oru. it has a variety of things in it, including 13 clothing designs, some weaving techniques and other things. It is all in Japanese. language. There is no English, but there are ways to be able to design even without English instruction.
One of the designs includes the “squid” vest, which can be made open in the front, or closed, as a dress. Some great inspiration in here.

This is a listing for ONE kit of a SAORI inside set.
The inside set consists of 2 harnesses with bold holes, one reed with dent size of your choice, clipping tie rod and an already assembled warp extension kit (paper pipe with cords attached and a additional clipping tie rod),
This inside set includes a warp extension kit (paper pipe with cords attached and a clipping tie rod), plus the additional clipping tie rod for the front of the warp You are receiving 2 clipping tie rods in total with everything else all ready to go.
There is no need to assemble anything and you don’t have to tie your warp on at the back, you can clip it easily. Having the additional clipping tie rod also give you the option to use the warp extension kit on its own to extend the warp on a ready-made warp. You can clip it and avoiding the loss of 2-3 feet of warp!
If you are price comparing to other inside sets available online , this one is marginally higher in cost due to the difference in the items you are get in the order. The lower priced option elsewhere offers a plain paper pipe, separate cords and a regular tying rod, not a clipping tie rod for the warp.. This is the reason for the price difference.
The SAORI inside set is a fantastic option if you prefer the “sushi bar” approach to weaving and wish to interchange your warps and avert boredom . It enables you to have options of which warp you want to weave on. For me, I get bored with one piece of the same fish. I like to have choices… An inside set gives you that option. You can have one loom and as many inside sets (warps on the go) as your pocketbook can afford.

This hwas released in (November 2017 by SAORI, Japan.
Same designs and photos as the Japanese version, but with English instructions.
No more guessing on small details. All is there for the reading and designing….
Hooray! The Japanese version was fine and doable, but this makes it so much easier!
Enjoy with ease, sewing your handwoven cloth into wearable, unique clothing.
This version offers many designs for skirts and pants, as well as tops, but has more designs for pants/skirts than the Beginner’s Clothing Design Book.

Unassembled- (smallest box):
Loom is completely unassembled It should take approximately 1 hour to assemble the loom itself, then you’d need to assemble the harnesses and thread on the warp, which is additional time.
This option is ready to ship.
Assembled. (some pieces need to be removed for safety in shipping):
Warp will be threaded onto the harnesses. This option will delay shipping out by a few days, plus the shipping charge will be higher because of the dimensions of larger box needed to ship the assembled loom.
PLEASE NOTE:
As of January 1, 2020 there will be a $25 additional charge for assembling the loom, whether for pick up or shipping. Thank you for your understanding.

I thread the warp onto the harnesses for you, and that ships separately. This incurs an additional shipping charge because it is now two boxes: the loom and the threaded warp (inside set), which will not fit into the loom box once threaded onto the harnesses

Cost for shipping will depend on your location in the US, but average cost whether assembled or not, ranges approximately from $45-$100 via Fed Ex Ground, with insurance. The loom will ship from the West Coast.
SHIPPING TIMES:
If you are having the loom assembled, please note that the shipping cost will be higher because of the increased dimensions (and cost) of the box. I do not charge any fees to assemble the loom or thread the warp on for a first time loom purchase. If someone comes to the studio, they are able to get a fully assembled, threaded loom that is ready to weave.
I offer this same option for my shipping customers, too.
Unassembled looms will ship out the next business day, Assembled looms will need a couple of days lead time to assemble the loom and thread the warp.

This listing is for ONE reed for a 60 series SAORI loom.
There are various dent options (choose from the drop down menu). Availability of quantities for each reed varies.
-2 dents/cm (5 dents per inch)

-5 dents/cm (12 dents per inch). This is the reed that comes with the SAORI loom.

All reeds are the same price. If I do not have one in stock, I am happy to order if for you, which I can also do for the more unusual (very fine) dent sizes.-

This is a listing for a SAORI silk 10 cone set. ‘Garden of Roses’.
This is a great colorway and reminds me of the roses I just saw while visiting the Huntington Library Rose Garden today. Some beautiful whites with faint traces of pink, some deeper reds and some pinks. Varying textures, lots of interest among these cones. And while these cones don’t smell like roses, they are made of silk, so that’s a close second! Who can ignore or reject such luxury?

This listing is for the SAKIORI fabric cutter with 5mm blades. Additional blades for the cutter are sold separately an d are on a different listing. The SAKIORI cutter comes with one set of blades. Any supplemental blades purchased are so you have additional options in the width of your cloth strips.
With this cutter you can cut many strips of fabric very easily and quickly. The cutter comes with a 5mm blade cartridge. There are optional cartridges with 4 different cutting widths. Use the Sakiori Shuttle to weave with the strips.
